Stop That Teacher!

This performance consisted of a short lecture on teaching, a bowl of stones that I proceeded to stuff into my mouth, a glass of water, and a slide projection running behind me. I continued to lecture while stuffing rocks into my mouth until I had to spit them out or choke. I repeated this performance until one of the students stopped me. Discussion about expectations, teacher and student bodies, power, pedagogy, and art followed.

I am grateful to Nicole Galellis for assisting me with documentation in video and photography.
